Most Common Questions
For most products, rainfall before or after an application typically enhances the effectiveness of your TruGreen application. Water is vital for proper plant health and aids in carrying nutrients into the soil so they can be absorbed by a plant’s root system. Water also activates preemergent weed control and sub-surface insect control. TruGreen applications won’t wash away once they are absorbed by the plant or watered into the soil. However, if it rains before or during a mowing service, Tegrity may need to reschedule the service to avoid mowing the wet lawn.
Every weed is different, and some weeds are more difficult to control than others. For most weeds, you’ll begin to see a decline within 10-14 days. Typical signs of effective weed control include discoloration, twisting and withering. However, for species of weeds that are more difficult to control, multiple visits and/or specialized products may be required for effective control, which is why continuing the program year-round is the best way to get the desired results.
We do our absolute best to ensure our specialists service your property during the time window allocated for your appointment. However, we occasionally miss this appointment window, typically because of weather or extended time spent with valued customers like yourself. Rest assured, if we miss an appointment, we will reschedule your service as soon as possible so that your property receives the care it deserves.
If you believe the specialist may have missed servicing an area on your property, call us and we will have our professionals fix our mistake! If you believe we missed a fertilization, weed, insect, or disease treatment, we suggest you monitor the area for 10-14 days. Before My Service
Please make sure to allow access to your property by keeping gates unlocked or giving us special access and pets inside your home on scheduled service days.
We would love to see you and speak with you about your lawn if you are home. If you can’t be home for your visit, we’ll send you an email giving you an opportunity to review the services performed and leave a review of the professional who performed your service. Your service summary is also available after every appointment at Tegritylawn.com in your customer portal.

We recommend watering your lawn with for a 15 minute cycle after the service has been completed. Some of our products work better when applied dry, but will activate once water is applied.
After My Service
After a service, Tegrity advises customers to allow the application to dry before families and pets resume enjoying their lawns. Although highly dependent upon temperature and humidity, most liquid products Tegrity uses dry within 1-2 hours. Pre-emergent applications are timed to target and prevent specific weeds from flourishing after germination has occurred. Unfortunately, not all weeds are controlled using a pre-emergent product but will be treated with post-emergent weed applications. Customers find that continuing the program from season to season and year to year is the best way to maintain the lawn's appearance.

General Service Questions
Tegrity service continues automatically year after year unless a customer advises us to discontinue. Customers find that continuing the program from season to season and year to year is the best way to maintain the lawn's appearance. It also allows us to care for your lawn at the best time for the best results.
Tegrity is committed to setting the industry standard for education, training and certification of our specialists. First, we provide intensive on-going training series all for new specialists. The program covers a variety of yard maintenance, lawn care, weed control and safety related topics. Each new specialist is paired with a mentor who provides coaching. Our specialists must meet Tegrity’s rigorous certification before being trusted to perform any service unsupervised.
All Tegrity specialists are trained to ensure that gates are closed before leaving the property and to carry out specific property requests made by customers. We are happy to add all special instructions on your account when you start service, and all notes are visible to technicians through their mobile app.
Once you've registered your account on Tegritylawn.com at the start of your service, you can save your login credentials for a faster log in experience in the future. If you forgot your password, you can follow the "Get Login Info" prompt on the login screen and enter in the email or phone associated with your Tegrity account to proceed.
You can cancel your services by calling us at 775-391-8036. Our specialists must be able to verify your identity. Currently, we are not able to cancel services online through the customer portal.
Billing
There are three easy ways to pay for your TruGreen service. You can:
- PrePay for a Lawn Health plan and receive a discount.
- Sign up for Auto Pay and have your payment automatically withdrawn from a bank account or credit card after the completion of your service.

Lawn Care
Tegrity provides all the services you need for a healthy lawn including fertilization, weed control, soil amendments, aeration, dethatching, overseeding, topdressing and lawn insect & disease control. Tegrity also provides lawn mowing and other essential yard maintenance services including seasonal cleanups, bush trimming, and landscape weed control. Tegrity does not provide landscape construction or design services. For a full list of services, click here to find the plan that works best for you.
Based on the service you need, we will either service your property weekly, bi-weekly, bi-monthly, or bi-yearly. Tegrity will work with you to design the best frequency for your goals.
Our Tegrity Guarantee is our promise to you that we will gladly come out to your property as often as needed between scheduled services at no extra cost until you're happy. If for any reason Tegrity makes a mistake we will do everything capable of fixing our mistake.
